CV

Dr. Osama Dawoud received a PhD. degree in Civil Engineering from University of Cambridge in 2014. Before joining İstinye Üniversitesi, Dr. Osama has worked at University of Palestine - Palestine as the vice dean of the Engineering Faculty. Beside his long experience in academia, which started in 2007, Dr. Osama has been enrolled in consultancy for a range of projects in the field of water resources management and environmental development. The consultancy was equally offered to professional firms and non-governmental international organizations that work on humanitarian relief in Gaza strip, Palestine. He has been in charge as the coordinator of Water Quality Working Group of WASH cluster in Gaza Strip. Dr. Osama has always been exploiting collaboration with professionals from different engineering disciplines believing that the multidisciplinary research offers better opportunities for development of feasible and applicable solutions, and for knowledge enrichment. Such type of research offers as an extraordinary opportunity for young researchers and undergraduate students to widen their paradigm, trigger their creativity, and develop their life skills.
