Each of our faculty members who teach in our department are experts in their fields; They actively participate in research and teaching activities. Section; Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Engineering, Vocational School of Health, Department of Foreign Languages and other relevant departments receive support for courses and laboratories, as a result, they are capable of scientific thinking, develop interdisciplinary ideas, produce information and technology; It is aimed to train entrepreneurial, innovative and creative young researchers.

Our department has DMA and MAJOR opportunities for its own students and students applying from other departments. Our students are offered two different diplomas or additional certificates upon graduation.

We have active 'Molecular Biology and Genetics' and 'Rare Diseases' student clubs. Tübitak student projects, internship and graduation projects enable our students to participate in research and development activities.

Our undergraduate students are among the most successful students of our country and are supported by our university with extensive scholarship opportunities. In addition, many foreign students from various countries prefer our department every year. Our department is signing an increasing number of Erasmus, Bilateral and other scientific agreements with important universities and research centers every year.

Graduates; They can do a master's degree in programs related to their fields of interest (genetics, medical biology, bioengineering, chemical and biological engineering, molecular biology, nanotechnology, etc.) at home and abroad, and work as researchers/academics at universities or research centers. In addition, biotechnology companies, public or private organizations related to the protection of the environment and natural life, medical genetics, microbiology, stem cell centers of hospitals, in vitro fertilization centers, etc., biomedical companies offer job opportunities to our graduates.
