The list of the world's most influential scientists, prepared annually by scientists from Elsevier and Stanford University, has been published by Elsevier. As of September 1, 2022, criteria such as the number of qualified publications, the effect of the journal in which the publications are included, the number of citations, the h-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles and the impact factor of the journal in which they were published were used in the creation of the list.
Two other members of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, namely, Assoc. Prof. Armağan Fatih Karamanlı (Mechanical Engineering) and Assoc. Prof. Ali Zarrabi (Biomedical Engineering) were also included in the list.
