Istinye Quantum Dynamics Student Club Received Acceptance from the AUVSI SUAS UAV Competition to be held in the USA

QUANTUM UAV Team, one of the Istinye Quantum Dynamics Student Club teams established at our university in 2020, received acceptance from the AUVSI SUAS Competition to be held in the United States (USA) in June 2024 with the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) they will produce.

In this context, our team, which succeeded in being one of the 15 teams from our country that applied to the competition in which 125 teams from around the world can take part, is also one of the 5 foundation university teams that applied to the competition. Our team will continue their work to complete the remaining stages of the competition by passing the UAVs they will produce through a series of tests in the coming period.

AUVSI SUAS

AUVSI SUAS is an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) competition held at Patuxent River Naval Air Base in Maryland, USA, once a year since 2002.

While large companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, AeroVironment and MATLAB sponsor the competition, university teams from many parts of the world such as Duke, MIT and Stanford also compete in this competition.
