We are conducting scientific research projects in collaboration with Bakırdere Research Group and İstinye University.
Under the coordination of Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Full Member Prof. Dr. Sezgin Bakırdere, our students started to take part in scientific studies in Bakırdere Research Group. The applications of our students who participated in the studies under the consultancy of Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Chemistry Department Head Asst. Prof. Dr. Melike Atakol were accepted for TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Project in 2024.
These projects carried out in collaboration with Bakırdere Research Group and İstinye University; Molecular Biology and Genetics, Pharmacy Department double major students Vedat Yıldırım and Molecular Biology and Genetics Department student Hilal Nur Çolak. In addition, our student Vedat Yıldırım achieved significant success by completing the star scholarship league in TÜBİTAK KUTUP (POLAR) - 1001 Project.
Applications were made for our Molecular Biology and Genetics, Chemistry Department double major students Aleyna Akduman and Selin Alobisi, who are BRG members and aim to be accepted within the framework of TÜBİTAK 2209-A/2209-B projects by presenting multidisciplinary studies, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Arda Atakol and Asst. Prof. Dr. Melike Atakol.
