Dr. Dursun Delen, Oklahoma Devlet Üniversitesinde İşletme Yönetimi Spears Kürsü profesörü, İş Analitiğinde Patterson Ailesi Kürsü profesörü, Sağlık Sistemleri İnovasyonu Merkezi Araştırma Direktörü, Spears İşletme Okulu Yönetim Bilimi ve Bilgi Sistemleri vekil profesörü ve İstinye Üniversitesi’nde Endüstri Mühendisliği Profesörüdür. Dr. Delen, hem iş danışmanı hem de üniversite profesörü olarak analitik ve veri biliminde 30 yılı aşkın deneyime sahiptir. Akademik görevinden önce, beş yıl boyunca özel bir araştırma ve danışmanlık şirketinde araştırmacı bilim insanı olarak çalıştı ve bu süre zarfında DoD, NASA, NIST ve DoE dahil olmak üzere federal kurumlar tarafından finanse edilen bir dizi karar destek, bilgi sistemleri ve ileri analitikle ilgili araştırma projelerine liderlik etti. Dr. Delen, 150'den fazla hakemli makale ve 11 kitap/ders kitabı yayınlamıştır. İş analitiği, veri/metin madenciliği ve bilgi yönetimi ile ilgili konularda danışmanlık anlaşmaları için sık sık ulusal ve uluslararası konferanslara davet edilmektedir. Çeşitli iş analitiği ve bilgi sistemleri konferanslarında düzenli olarak alt konula temalari için başkanlık yapmaktadır. Halen bir düzineden fazla dergi yayın kurulunda baş editör, kıdemli editör, yardımcı editör ve yayın kurulu üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Prestijli Fulbright alimi, seçkin öğretmen ve araştırmacı vekilleri ve Büyük Veri mentor ödülleri dahil olmak üzere çeşitli araştırma ve öğretim ödüllerinin sahibidir.
