The World’s Top 2% Scientists, which is an update of the list of the world most extensively cited scientists in various disciplines, is issued by Stanford University. This prestigious rating is based on the Scopus database bibliometric information of scientists, who are classified into 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields.
